As a forester's son, Richard Dehmel got his first impressions of nature, wandering the oak forests and wrote a beautifull poem, the inspiration for this peace, he writes about an overwelming force, the beaty of being still and in this moment one with nature.

Morganandacht is written for a project in the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp for Ensemble XXI and as a Bacholor III exam. This project is a collaboration of the Composition department, Ensemble XXI and the Voice department.
